The parade will be followed at noon by the museum’s annual art car festival and the opening of a new exhibit by Mark Bradford at Five Points Museum located at 1201 N. Moody.

Featured in the parade in years past, Bradford’s walking contraptions, otherworldly beings and wall sculptures will be on display inside the museum, inviting everyone to see up close how Mark “Scrapdaddy” Bradford takes discarded scrap metal and gives it new life.

Stay tuned for more details, and we’ll see you on April 6th!

Organizing Theme: Decode 361

How do you define Victoria? What is the personality of the city? How do you describe Victoria to someone who has never been here? What cultural, political, or spiritual elements are at the core of your community? As the city grows and diversifies, how is the identity of Victoria evolving? This exhibit will focus on work that addresses these questions and how they apply to the people, traditions and environment in and around the Crossroads area.
