Call for Entries: The Victoria Show

The curatorial staff of Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art invites South Texas area artists to submit their work for our first open call exhibition. Submitting artists should live within a 100 mile radius of Victoria, Texas or have a strong connection to the area by previous residency or work.

Organizing Theme: Decode 361

How do you define Victoria? What is the personality of the city? How do you describe Victoria to someone who has never been here? What cultural, political, or spiritual elements are at the core of your community? As the city grows and diversifies, how is the identity of Victoria evolving? This exhibit will focus on work that addresses these questions and how they apply to the people, traditions and environment in and around the Crossroads area.
